YOUR PHOTOS. YOUR CHOICE.

A little bedhead.
A little transparency.

Bedshot turns a headshot you choose into a playful, fully clothed, AI-generated morning portrait.

When you sign in

LinkedIn or X gives Bedshot your account identifier, name, and available profile-photo URL. We use an encrypted, HTTP-only cookie that expires after one hour. We don’t request email, posting permission, access to direct messages, or ongoing access to your account. Provider access tokens are discarded after sign-in. X sign-in also supplies your handle.

When you choose a photo

We fetch and select your signed-in account’s profile photo by default. You can choose “Upload my own” to use a different original JPG, PNG, or WebP from your device. If your profile photo is missing or unavailable, we ask you to upload one. Please use a photo of yourself that you have permission to use. Selecting or previewing a photo does not send it to Gemini; that happens only after you confirm and make a bedshot.

When you make a bedshot

After you confirm, we send the chosen image to Google’s Gemini API to generate your bedshot. Google processes it under its applicable API terms. Our request disables interaction-history storage; that does not replace Google’s own retention or data-use rules. We remove embedded metadata from the photos we save. We do not use your photos to train a model.

Originals and generated images are held in private storage. Unshared results are visible only while signed in to the account that created them. Photos expire after seven days and are removed by scheduled cleanup. We retain a hashed account identifier with generation-attempt records for up to seven days to limit abuse.

When you share

Creating a share link makes both images available to anyone with that link. Social networks can fetch the before-and-after preview image. Sharing opens the network’s composer; you decide whether to post. We never post automatically.

When you delete

Use “Delete my photos” on your result while signed in to remove the original, bedshot, and share card, and disable the link. A social network may retain a cached preview or a copy you posted. Deleting a Bedshot link cannot delete copies elsewhere.

The original example

The founder’s example is a permanent demonstration provided for this site. The generated half is labeled as AI-created. It is not a live generation using your photo.
